This is a very important moment for my character, Lear. He is in controlled fight against another test wolf. The tested wolf had gone insane, but held the key to the ultimate steroid. Lear held onto life for what seemed like ages, writhing in agony.
Later he was bandaged, but not stitched, and given a fixed version of the steroid he was fighting against.
This will be a new beginning for the young soul.

Art-wise, I am not so happy with the mouth and shading. The pose itself was SO. HARD. Because I could not find a canine lying on its back from the angle I wanted. I could not find a gaping mouth either. So I looked at my own dog and some various references and finally came up with this.
